On September 3, Rosie and I met up with my cousin Jen and her daughter Taea at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) for the Fresh Beat Band concert!  The concert was really fun and the girls had a blast!

Birthday bash

We had a fun barbecue for my mom's birthday on 9/2/12.  My mom requested veggies, so here's what was on the menu.  The zucchini on the right is from our garden, the rest were from the farmer's market, and all were deliciously cooked by Rob, assisted by Susan.  :)

Euclid Avenue had their third annual block party 8/25/12, and this year we were in town.  Rosie had a blast dancing and bouncing in the bouncy house with some new friends.

 Susan's college roommate Cara and her daughter Annie were visiting on 8/29/12 when we stopped by to visit, also.  Rosie loved sharing her goldfish with Annie.

Long lost friend

A very good friend of mine from college, who unfortunately I hadn't seen in several years, came to visit us on August 19.  It was so great to see her and catch up after way too long!  Both Rosie and Rory loved playing with Lora!  Here are some photos from her visit:

Splash time!

On August 11, we had a big rain storm here in Pittsfield.  No tears here, though, we love the rain for the giant puddles in our yard, driveway, and sidewalk!!  Rosie showed our new next-door neighbor Tres how to puddle jump, since they moved from Texas!  :)  I love watching them jump and play in the huge puddles, then run back to the steps to dump out their boots, only to do it all again!  They had a blast and Rosie has been wishing for another rainy day since!
