Hello blog-world! I thought this format might be a little easier to update and to help stay connected with family and friends. Please bear with me as I learn how to edit and use this site...
We got the ok to head into the hospital at 6am. Due to pregnancy-induced hypertension, (rather than the preeclampsia I had with Rosie's pregnancy) I was scheduled for an induction on December 27. Everything moved quickly after the pitossin began around 8:30am, and Rory Jacob Fosmire was born at 12:27pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2011! He weighed 5lbs 15oz (2700grams) and was 18in long. I think 27 might be someone's lucky number... :) Both mother and baby did well and were healthy. Below are some photos from the first week or so.
